Boyd Response

Boyd believes that teens are changing who they are when they enter the social media world. I agree with Boyd because I know I am more conservative on the information I post on certain sites. For example on Facebook I am very particular about what I say or post due to the fact I have a lot of family on there. While on Instagram, I still have some family just not as much and I post different post. Boyd writes ” Teens are struggling to make sense of who they areĀ  and how they fit into society in an environment in which contexts are networked and collapsed, audiences are invisible, and anything they say or do can easily be taken out of context” (53). I agree with her statement because being a teen I can relate to how we as teens struggle. Teens struggle because we do not quite know who we are fully and do not know where we can fit in and not be judged for who we are.
